Any guesses what game these girls were playing?
Pirates?
Maybe busy housewives, who have their hair tied back so they can scrub floors, akin to the head-wear worn by pioneer women during housework (let’s face it, all these girls like to watch and imitate Little House on the Prairie)?
Nope. These three were watching Tangled, the Disney rendition of the Rapunzel story. All three of these girls wanted long hair just like Rapunzel, and they were the ones to bring me the scarves to tie on their little imaginative heads to make “Rapunzel hair.” They alternated between watching the movie and running through the house as fast as possible to make their “hair” fly out behind them. They even found small toy animals to tuck on their shoulders for their own version of Pascal the chameleon.
A little imagination goes a long way.
